About Cooking with Dacus
I have always loved to eat tasty meals and experimenting in the kitchen. Years ago I started posting photos of my food on Facebook and Instagram and tagging them with #FoodMadeAtHomeTastesBetter. In early 2021 I started Cooking with Dacus. One of the most important things to me is that cooking should be fun and food should be tasty! Cooking to me is relaxing and cathartic. I love cooking and sharing my food and recipes with family and friends. Take a look around the site and see what inspires you to get cooking.

You will find me behind the One Tortilla Grill at Dudy Noble Field during the Mississippi State Baseball season. I am a wildlife biologist, hunter, dog lover, fan of live music, beer connoisseur, and love to cook and eat!
JT
JT is the head dish washer and my partner in crime. We reconnected years after college through my food pics on Facebook. We have a lot of fun in the kitchen and around the grill cooking and eating together. Laughter truly is the best medicine!
